Drawings in Exile

Created in collaboration with director Anna Ostrovskaya, these are preparatory drawings for an animated documentary, based on a true story about Soviet mass deportations in Baltic states.
This is the youth of Marcelle from Lithuania. There are no baroque paintings of mysteries, these simple drawings give full authority and power to Marcelle's tragic story.
